I think so based on the data in the manual. But we will not know for sure until you open the case.

Thanks Chris. So apparently the EFI was the one partition I needed in addition to the OS partition. I just googled EFI and learned that it contains to boot information to make everything work under UEFI.

Did you connect the new drive to the SATA0 port on the motherboard where the old drive had been connected? And did you connect a power cable from the power supply to the new drive?

One issue I had (see my recent question posts) is how do I deal with UEFI to set up which drive/device should be used to boot from first. I had to manually switch the cables. I am sure there is another way.

Tap F12 as soon as you reboot to access the Boot Menu and select the boot device. Don't wait for any screen.

Yup, the Drive is connected to SATA0 on the MB where the old drive had been located. The power Supply Cable was also Connected. I can feel the HDD Spin up. BIOS does see the Drive as well. This is so frustrating!

I just tried it in the 745 MT; No such luck, orange light, black screen. A shame too as I really wanted it in that one. And that's another example of why one should scrutinize information online. Two people swore they had it working in the 745 MT! As per the 755? Works perfectly.

So all you needed was an extra data cable to add a SECOND hard drive?

I'd chalk this up to a bad GPU. Unfortunately, that's not a replaceable part -- it will require a mainboard replacement. Further unfortunately, these systems share much with notebook computers - the boards are proprietary. Expect somewhere between $350-500 for a replacement board.

If that doesn't allow you to install Win 7, try changing SATA Operation to ATA in BIOS setup, but you'll have to install the SATA driver during the Win 7 installation in order to use the Intel Rapid Storage Controller, so watch for that option.

Greetings, Thank you for writing to us. Clean all traces of earlier drivers. Restart the system and install Nvidia older driver without GeForce Experience. Go to your operating system drive's "temp" folder. (C:/Windows/temp).

Your PC probably has 2 sets of video ports since you have the add-in video card. As Dan-H suggested, make sure the monitor is connected to the add-in card and not to one of the onboard video ports.

I recently tried upgrading the memory on a Dell 7810 Desktop computer. These computers have 8 memory slots. The memory I was trying to install is from Dell Part # SNPH5P71 /8G the ones that are in the computer now are 4 gig stick but they are running at the same speed.

I ordered a 3620 with 2 hard drives configured for RAID 0. It has already shipped. I realize now that I made a mistake and should have ordered the RAID 1 configuration. I realize this will reduce my total drive capacity.

The first part sounds correct. I do not the other questions or why it is split up like they are. Check this out.

so, I can confirm that my PCIe slots work. I was able to install a PCIe graphics card and it was recognized and automatically installed. Still though, there is no mention of the tv tuner in the device manager either under hidden devices nor any unknown.

I have a Dell XPS 8300 with i7-2600 CPU @3.4 ghz. It came with Windows 7 but upgraded to Windows 10 before I seen a Dell post saying not to upgrade the XPS to Windows 10 so I am not sure if the error I am getting has anything to do with it. It worked fine till about a month ago.

I ended up going with the EVGA Supernova that was recommended above and it solved my issues. Easy install. patesdellcc, thanks for the recommendation but I decided against a refurbished unit, prefer going with new. Tom
